A damp patch beside a chimney does not identify the failed part on its own. The brickwork, mortar joints, top of the stack and flashing all deserve attention. We inspect the chimney alongside the adjoining tiles or slates.
Pointing and weathered joints
Open mortar joints leave exposed edges in the masonry. The survey establishes the condition of the stack and the extent of the repair. Your written quote explains the masonry work and the access needed to carry it out.
Seal the junction at roof level
Lead flashing bridges the meeting point of roof covering and brickwork. Loose edges and split sections need a lasting repair detail. We assess the flashing, the mortar joint it enters and the roof covering beside it.

Co Operate installed a full flat roof on our extension. It looks brilliant and the quality of the EPDM membrane is top notch. They even came back a week later to check everything was perfect. Really impressed with the aftercare.
